Samsung BJII text messages?

I restarted my phone today and about 5 days worth of texts disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know what could have caused it

I've had this phone for almost a year now, and I was having problems with it a few months ago where I was having to hard reset it at least once a day and I never lost any of my messages.

It's just the ones from the past 5 days ago that disappeared and not the thousands of others since I don't delete my messages

it happens to me all the time it may have something to do with what company u r with like att or tmobile altell and sprint hope this helps and it could be that ur phone being down so long and u getting so many texts the memory oculd have overloadded and deleted them

It happens if you hard reset.... you'll lose all your messages.
