Am I the only one who finds it refreshing . . . ?

Question

To hear our president support science and the scientific process?  You can find the video on youtube if you search Obama on science, I'm sure . . . but I'll post some quotes from his small youtube video.

"Science holds the key to our survival as a planet."

Talking about scientific progress in the past:
"[We had] leaders who not only invested in our scientists, but respected the integrity of the scientific process."

Al Gore has been saying that for years :S People have a short memory it seems.

Well he did sort of win the election... then the whole thing went sideways. But personally I am not pro-Obama because of the foolish decisions with regards to fixing the economic crisis he already made...he is doing exactly what Bush was doing - printing more money and throwing it at the problem, real refreshing :P

I find it refreshing that the President is willing to take on the most horrific perfect storm of crisis I have seen since the Bay of Pigs. Wow. Not enough money in the world for me to take the job.

So I will pray. I pray that the President might find the wisdom of Solomon, the patience of Job, the endurance of --I dont even know what other models we can wish for him. Pray for him. Before all is over, he will need our love and support simply to survive the stresses he is responsible for taking onto his shoulders.
