I went to Home Depot yesterday to get two gallons of wall paint. The woman loaded me up, but this morning when I am getting ready to open the cans, it says enamel.
I hate to paint...I mean, seriously hate to paint. Leading glass is more my thing. But if I have to paint, I want to do it right.
So....can I use the enamel on the walls? Or should I take them back and get wall paint?

Yes. Behrs entire line of interior wall paint says enamel on the label except the flat paint. Look at Behr.com. If you're still not sure, look on the paint can to see the list of uses. If you're still wondering you can call the company. If it says something like "interior semi satin enamel" it's fine.

Traditionally enamel meant oil based. Today, it is just a word to mean or indicate durability. As long as it is a water based paint, you wil be fine, however, if there is a sheen to your choice of product, make sure you do plenty of prep work on the wall to fix all imperfections.
