Gas pedal stuck?? 88 Chevy Corsica?

My gas pedal has become increasingly difficult to press, to the point where I have to mash it down to get moving from a stop. While it's not as bad when it runs for awhile, I look like I'm trying to race at the light when I'm not. What's wrong with it and a ballpark range to get it fixed??

Just disconnect the cable from the throttle body, hang it up & oil it. With motor oil, not wd-40. Or you can replace the cable, I'd guess about $18 at a discount parts store.

something maximum are forgetting approximately, make constructive engine is working once you sparkling the throttles butterfly. carry the engine at approximately 1500 rpm. you will ought to artwork the throttle by using hand so the engine would not die yet this might artwork. that's an extremely undemanding concern with GMC or Chevy vehicles. do no longer positioned trans fluid in there. do no longer use a broom. A rag will artwork high quality. yet you ought to no longer ought to attain this with the engine working. desire this helps
