How can the 10 minute charge for this EV ever work?

It says you need a 250kW source for the 10 minute charge.
Where is anybody going to find a 250kW power supply?
A typical 110v house outlet is 2kW.
An entire house with 220 volt 200 amp service is 44kW.

You could use a 400 HP diesel engine driving a 250 kW alternator to charge your EV.

Looks like a distant dream. No individual will have such source. Again, you will have to wait in line for days or weeks to get 10 minute charge of your car !
But hold on, one has to dream to make it a reality. Remember, when Wright brothers said that they can fly.............what happened ? the whole world said its crazy. Is it crazy now ??

You'd have to do it at a special station, probably one with it's own electrical substation.

The company is just trying to generate investor and customer interest. Likely, they'll never actually build these (at least not with the charger). The electric car industry is full of missed deadlines, vaporware, and outright fraud.

Yes, that's about how much energy you'd need, to be able to charge a car in 10 minutes. It will take huge wires, and I wonder what the battery charging efficiency will look like.

Very good question. When I saw that I got out my manual to see what size cable/wire it would take. It is so big many would have trouble lifting and handling it. They would need some type of big "Direct Drive into plug".

Silly. That is probably why we haven't seen any.
