For those of you have sent or received pop in care packages:
How was it sent? USPS, etc. Plastic bottles, cans? Did it explode, what kind of condition did it arrive in? Did you declare it on the customs forms?
Any help would be appreciated - I want to send my husband some pop that we can only get in the northeast. Thanks!

And I know you can do it because there are companies that will do this, send pop, by USPS, overseas. But they charge an arm and a leg to do it.

I used to get my wife to send me bottles of Cheer wine (A cherry soda out here in NC, discovered it while here in Camp Lejune). She would just wrap it in a plastic bag and I always received it fine. Sending care packages is not a science. People above me are freaking out. Go ahead and send it, it will be fine.
I got pop (six pack glass bottles) sent to me via USPS in afghanistan. It was just packaged really well with all kinds of bubble wrap and newspaper so it wouldn't move around.
Batteries, DVDs, Books/magazines, nack meals, drink mixes, deliver flea collars to assist save sand fleas (from what I pay attention). deliver greater suitable shirts, socks, undies etc... Small fan... in case you probably did no longer understand already you may save some money with the aid of employing a flat value field from the submit place of work to deliver parcels. while you're making plans to deliver something heavey. you may %. anyything interior the field and this is not significant how lots it weighs, as long because it does not regulate the form.
some of the packages arrived badly shaped. I never saw any pop send out. I would not recommend doing it since if it explodes it will spoil the rest of packages.
You can't. Even if you don't declare it, it will show up on the scanner. The hazard puts the whole plane at risk so don't try it. It's a nice thought but send him something else and he can drink that pop to his heart's content when he comes home.
