Jason's Apartment, General Hospital?

This may be an odd question, but on General Hospital, Jason Morgan's apartment is a penthouse, PH 2. I know that it is located downtown, because Justus Ward lived in an apartment across from Jason in the early 2000s. And on the Christmas 2008 episode, "Santa" says that he landed his sleigh on top of the Metro Court, which was shown to be a straight shot off of the balcony. I know that a penthouse is an upper floor, luxury apartment. So if Jason's apartment is a penthouse, then how can you see trees out of the windows? This has been bothering for quite sometime, and I finally decided to bring it up. I realize that this is a paranoid question, but it has been bugging.

Remember way back when Sam was engaged to Jason? They would go out on the terrace and have romantic dinners and there were potted trees all over the deck. Maybe that's where the trees are showing from.

Check out the map in the soapzone.com link below (be sure to enlarge it). Note the Harbor View Arms on the left. Note the roof top connected to the back of the main building I think that is the terrace and his penthouse is directly across so he would have a view of the terrace and the trees.

Definition: A penthouse apartment or penthouse is an apartment or condominium that is on one of the highest floors of an apartment building or condominium. So it is not necessarily the top floor.

Make sense?

A penthouse is the top floor. I'm in a 2 story apartment building, on the 2nd floor, so I too live in a penthouse apartment! I can see trees outside my window.

Hmmm. I honestly never noticed or looked out the window. Maybe the building is a short building.

And Sonny lived across the hall from him in the 90s and early 2000s.

Haha! A true GH fan! No detail goes unnoticed! I'm liking the rooftop garden theory, but I'm going will balcony plants. Can you keep an eye out for Kate's open heart surgery scar from early 2008 and Jason's gunshot wound from last week? Thanks!!
