I ate **** trying to slide on my longboard, is there...?

something you need to do to the wheels or something? I tried on different surfaces but my wheels simply don't slide... I can do it on my skateboard, but the wheels are really worn out.. Anyone got any tips or something?

i used to rub toothpaste on my wheels and then wipe it off. you need to start with easy slides to "break them in" Also, most longboard wheels are NOT rubber, they are urethane.

They have to be a harder duro. Wear them in. Ride for a good solid 2-3 hours and wear off the shiny layer on the wheel. Try freezing them I heard that permanently changes the particles in the wheel and makes the wheel harder.

Most long board wheels are rubber, buy some urethane wheels for your longboard.

Skateboard wheels slide good because urethane is slippery and rubber isnt
