This question has probably been asked a MILLION times already, and I've researched previous Q&A's to no avail. My mp4 video files are currently saved on the C drive in My Documents. Please be specific. Thank you in advance. :)

1. Connect your iTouch to your PC and open up iTunes. 2. in iTunes, go to File -> Add file to library. 3. Browse through the folders and find your .mp4 video file. and add it. 4. Go to the Movies icon on the left hand side. 5. Your .mp4 video file should be visible now, drag&drop the video onto where it says "YourName's iPod"
Remember that your iTouch needs to be set up so you can manually manage music and videos. If that is not set up, click on where it says your iPod and the right side where your library was will change to the information about your iPod like space and firmware, check off manually manage and accept any pop up boxes that open and follow the instructions from above.
possibly the video you are attempting to function/import to your ipod has something embedded in them that refuses to be extra into your ipod touch. I had this occasion earlier. What i did is that i uploaded that document/video into youtube or any video sharing document website and then downloaded it lower back as .flv document which i then converted into an .mp4/.mov document it is properly matched with any ipod touch. it fairly works after. additionally, possibly the video you are attempting to function is from a limited website. So make certain you delete or take down your video as quickly as you're completed downloading it to your ipod.
Not all mp4 video can be transferred to iPod, please make sure your video is compatible with iPod. If the video resolution or video bitrate beyond iPod limitation, even though they are mp4 video, you can't upload them to iPod. For example, some iTunes purchased movie are High definition movie, the resolution it too high to play on iPod, you can't sync it to your iPod. For more information about iPod compatible video, you can visit apple official website. http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/specs.html Or you may take a look at this step by step direction, it's about how to convert and put video to iPod, it works pretty well for me. http://www.freedvdripper.net/guides/rip-dvd-convert-video-to-ipod-touch-nano.html Hope it helps.
