Ok so I just found out that Allison Iraheta from this Season 8 of American Idol was on the nbc owned spanish chanel Telemundo on a show called Quinceanera and won!

Fox knew this. Its been out since Hollywood week. Apparently the recording contract is not current or she would have been disqualified. Contestant Brent Keith was on Nashville Star. Joanna Pacciti had a multimillion dollar record contract as did Carly Smithson and Michael Johns. The only thing you cant have is a current contract.
