Speed up computer with new mobo?

..Computer is Core2duo/2.13ghz,4GB 800mhzRAM,8600GTxxx graphics.
..My download speed is about 74 KB/s but Youtube or any video continually hesitates.
..Vista Ultimate experience 5.1 rating (cpu lowest)
..I am told my motherboard (Intel DG965OT) is the problem
..SO,(1) what speed are you downloading?
.........(2)Is it my connection speed,mobo,or ????

Connection is hardwired SBC (phone co) Internet DSL

Download speeds are not related to motherboard.

You did not mention what you are downloading, type or speed of connection, what you pay for vs what you actually get etc.

Using video as a test for determining if you have a problem is a mistake. Problems on the server can cause that. Do you test speed at various times of the day? Peak times will cause servers to be slow and give a lot of hesitations, try off peak times.

Have you checked with your ISP to see if you have line problems? Are you wireless? Your wireless router could be the problem. Try connecting wired and try again.

Hmm.. i wouldnt get a new motherboard, i would get a PCI gigabit ethernet card.

I donwload most things at 200+kb/s
Maybe you just have a bad wireless/slow broadband speed.
