motocross honestly saved my life. i was in a dark place as a kid, and the first time i got on a bike it made that all go away. racing gave me the discipline to do well in school and kept me in good shape. i love this sport and everything it represents and i will be involved one way or another till i die. a crash i was in (well a lot of crashes) also instilled my faith in god because i should have died so many times.
so what does motocross mean to you? how has it changed your life?

Motocross helps my 7yr old that has ADD/AD HD the discipline helps his mind concentrate. Im 52years old it helps me live my life to my fullest. If I die in motocross I will die a happy man. I would love to see my little boy grow up to ride professionally. He is Truly a gifted MX er for a little boy; He has no fear.
Well this year Motocross for me means around 29000 kilometres of driving up until August transporting bikes interstate for the national series. Probably spending every weekend worrying about my son as he races the best under 19 riders in the country. Then when that series is over it starts all over again for the supercross. I cannot say that I love mx and sx but it certainly is a major part of my life and I had the pleasure of watching my son race international freestyle rider Bilko last weekend and beat him to win the day. So apart from feeling shockingly stressed, I also felt proud.
i was a big trail rider, i loved speed though, i changed my gearing so i flew down the straight open field, but could still rip it up in the woods, i sorta still want to run GNCC cause that's where my heart is. But after being caught by the Game Commission, getting yelled out for ripping up trails, getting the cops called on me for riding at night, and having neighbors call my parents about my pipe, i got turned off to trails and needed a place to really open it up and do anything i want, and i found a track right down the road and started going there, i'm not the fastest, but i know that i am having the most fun out of everyone.
for me motocross is an addiction, relatively harmless but it does hurt my wallet. motocross is a great outlet for me because in the real world i feel like a nobody, but im a pretty good rider (not to toot my own horn) and when im at the track i feel like a king because everyone wants to talk to me and ask me for pointers its just a great escape for me as well i guess.
