Guys. If your girl was threatened what would you do (psych question)?

Question

you and your girlfriend are walking down the road and a gang of big men walk up to you. they say "you can leave but we are taking your girl to have our way with her" or "you can stay and get the **** kicked out of you (maybe killed) and were still taking you girl" 
what one do u chose?

now what if it was your mother instead of your girlfriend?

this question was asked in my psych class and i wondered what the general opinion would be.

Leaving her is not an option.
I'd do whatever I could to give her a few seconds to run away. I'd punch, kick, bite - headbutting and swinging my arms wildly... I'd be like the Tasmanian devil. No joke.

Whether it's my girl, or her kids, or my mother, father, brother, sister, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle, in-laws, cousin - I'd react the same with any of them, but I'd fight with an uncontrollable ferocity if it was my gf, her kids, or my mom.

Leaving is not an option. I'd prepare myself to fight and die.

I think I would have to try and stop them in some way, if I didn't think I could physically I'd try and think of another way to do it.  I don't think I'd be able to live with myself if I walked away.
