All of this will be listed in your book but,
Glacial cycles are affected by the warming/cooling of the air around them (currently it is warming). The ocean temperature is also another factor.
North America was covered in a lot of ice and a lot of the big waterfalls would have been created by the ice age.
Heart of man
It created the Great Lakes area. The prairies were created by moving ice. It made that area good farm land.
