my girlfriend and i are going to estes park this aug and im wondering what are some good places to eat we are both 23yrs old and like everything... my uncle owns the sweet basilio but i dunno if she will like that or not... if anyone can tell me some good restaurants and some good activities that would be great!!!!!

There is a burger place on the main strip that is real good. Honestly- can't remember the names of any of the places but I haven't eaten at one bad place there. I used to live in Denver and went to Estes at least twice a year.
For activities- go hiking through Rocky Mtn National Park and check out some of the deer. you can bike, hike out there. It is along a river and there is fishing. You could go to Boulder and check out the scene out there- also great hiking and biking and definitely good restaurants. Along the way to Boulder there are shops where you can get elk meat and stuff.
If you are going to be there for a few days you could go all the way through Rocky Mtn National park to the other side where Grand Lake is and hang out there and rent a little boat or something. Also in Estes- there is a lot of little touristy shops.
It is a fun place.

Mama Roses Italian Dining is freaking FANTASTIC. I live in Colorado. It was my favorite. I don't know how much it's changed since I've been there, but it was fabulous 4 years ago :)
