Guitar starter pack brands?
Need brand names of good beginner/starter guitars. Need to get a beginner pack for my son. He is in college... and has somewhat of a musical background.

Depends on the music he likes and will play. If he like metal or hard rock I say go with the Ibanez starter pack. But if he likes classic rock go with the Fender starter pack. Both are relatively cheap. They also come with a gig bag (guitar holder), an amplifier, and a few picks.
