Writing. Freelance writers can make anywhere from $100 to $1,000 or more per article. Research environmental topics, find interesting environmental people to interview or a new green item and pitch the idea to eco magazines and Web sites.

Try to come up with something unique or new to the industry. Research how to write article queries and research how the publication wants you to submit queries. Then just keep submitting. Eventually you'll find the right story and publication. That's the quickest job I can think of that doesn't require any extra education--though knowing how to write is essential.
