Snorting co-worker..what to do?

OY! I work in the same small office with a guy who constantly snorts his snot back up into this sinus. Sorta sounds like he is snorting when he does it. It sounds GROSS!! (and you just know he is swallowing that too!!) Any suggestions about saying something? Or am I going to have to suck it up and deal...pardon the pun.

BTW, I discretely offered a box of tissues....he declined.

After reading some of the responses I think I've decided to start farting in the office...LOL.

According to etiquette this is one of those things that after you offered the box of tissues you are going to have to just suck up. This guy apparently has no manners at all or he would excuse himself and go to the restroom and either clear his nasal passages or use a tissue.
If it gets so out of control that it interferes with your work in massive amounts talk to your supervisor about it in complete privacy. Good luck.

I got nauseous just reading your question. I too can not stand this sound. Talk to the office manager and tell them it is not just annoying it is making you feel nauseous. If they will do nothing and he continues, I would look for another job. People like this are very rude and think nothing of also honking their nose at a dinner table. RUDE - RUDE -RUDE

A co-worker of mine does it too. One day, in the lunchroom, it seemed especially annoying and loud. I said, " do you realize how gross that sounds?". I then left the lunchroom, taking my unfinished drink with me and took a walk. After that she cut back on how often she does it.

OMG! I had a coworker that say by me do that too. She was reported several times to no avail, so I started wearing earplugs! Thankfully she left the company before I threw up.
