Anyone know the fate of HP's Firebird serious desktops?

I have been reading that HP's Firebird 803 desktop is no longer available, and the 802's supply is even nearing an end. So, what gives? Is HP killing Voodoo PC's altogether? Or am I being paranoid here. I'm looking to get the 803 if I can find it someplace.

Build your own, the Whole Vooboo series is overpriced for the hardware you get. Their nice though but for 1,800 bucks you can build one that will do all but blow you in the morning.
