I cannot find the title of my junk car. How can I get rid of it?

normally you can find signs that say we buy junk cars i know we have them here in indiana but sometimes they will buy it cheap with no title or some junk / salvage yards will also buy them with out title just call and ask...Show more

Depends upon what you mean by "get rid of it".
If you mean to have it hauled away, just call any junkyard and they'll come tow it away. Some might even give you $25 or more for it.

But if you mean trying to sell it, then it's harder. You can always sell a car that has no title, but then it means the new owner has it harder to get new title. It's not impossible, but just a pain. There are some dealers that specialize in getting titles to cars like that.
If you want to sell it, sell it on Craigslist. TAke picture of it with digital camera, put photo on ad, and amke sure you explain it has no title.
