What's your favourite song sung by a member of a band that isn't the normal lead vocalist?

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, but it's a chance to share another Brian May extravaganza with you all;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an6UWKMCoTM&feature=related :-)

Is there another instance where the not-lead-singer has sung and you really can't stand their voice?

MQ - Who's vocals do you prefer from Pink FLoyd?
MQ2 - Are we in agreement that Brian has a pretty cool voice/ did you like the song?

BQ - Random question time, If the music gods were trying to tell you something, would you listen? Or should you call them crazy and ignore them?

Driven By You is my favourite Brian track!

Yes, he should keep away from the high notes...Much More Roger's territory.

Haha, you'll have to tell me what song comes on first. The shuffle is a dangerous thing, Magic :-P

Haha, I'm not hearing voices. Except those ones telling me to kill everyone, but I ignored them years ago... *twitches*

Something- The Beatles ( George Harrison)
Remember a Day- Pink Floyd ( Richard Wright)
Time- Pink Floyd ( Richard Wright)

A1- Any of them, but not Roger Waters at all, no matter how young, he always sounds like an old man. Of course, David has the best, then Syd, Richard, Nick. But I have to listen to Waters since he is a genius.
A2- Yeah he a pretty cool voice.

Ha, well, on Nightwish's newest album the bassist sung a song called "The Islander", it's quite different from their normal stuff, pretty folksy and non-metal, but I like it a lot. In fact, it won Best 2008 Music Video in Finland a few days ago.

An instance where I really hate it, well how about "Deep Within" from Within Temptation? It's from their first album way back in 1997, where they were dabbling in gothic metal. The guitarist (and lead vocalist's boyfriend) Robert Westerholt did death growl vocals on that song and I hated it! I'm glad they didn't stick to that type of vocals.

After Hours--The Velvet Underground (the song features vocals from the drummer, Moe Tucker)

mq: David Gilmour
mq2: I liked it

bq: If random voices were trying to talk to me, I'd check myself into a mental institution immediately.

* Silver is thinking *

'The Quiet One' ~ The Who {John Entwistle}
'Driven By You' ~ Queen {Brian May}
'Octopus' Garden' ~ The Beatles {Ringo Starr}

I can't think of any that I didn't like...

MQ : I think I like David and Roger equally. They each bring something 'right' to their vocals...

MQ2 : He does alright....

BQ : I'd be listening!

Speaking of music gods, I love this quote from Taj Mahal :
"...I just play to the goddess of music - and I know she's dancing."
