Pontiac is to be discontinued in 2010 what are your thoughts on this? I think it is wrong, it is one step too push people to other side which are foreign manufactures, Plus Pontiac has made some excellent cars. Personally I think this blows and I guess my next car will be a ford fusion.

Pontiac is still revelant today because alot of people still drive them and purchase them for various reasons, for me it is the look and dependability I've owned 3 pontiac and all have been decent dependable cars after 10 years.

I think it is wrong. I love Pontiac, that is all I have ever owned. A !988 Firebird, a 1993 Sunbird and I am still driving my 1998 Sunfire. I was going to purchase a G6 when I had a few other bills paid off, but that may not be happening now. It depresses me that they make the choice to get rid of Pontiac when they have been around for a very long time. They have always been dependable cars. They made the wrong choice, Buick or GMC should have went first.
The Pontiac Solstice still lives as a Saturn Sky. The Pontiac G5 still lives as a Chevy Cobalt. The Pontiac G8 will still live as a new Chevy Camaro SS Sedan. Pontiac Torrent will still exist as a Saturn Vue.
You could still but Pontiacs. They would just have different names.
maximum human beings dont comprehend it replaced into buick, that presented the V6 infact before ,that 3.8 has been a international beater, getting previous now yet very sturdy ,then previously that, all alloy V8 back in 1962,then previously that the entire immediately 8 in 1931,to 1953,then off coarse the most suitable nail head 401 ci and 425 ci V8 ask any custom warm rod guy he will inform you, then the robust 455ci ,Buick has continuously been a secure sturdy ,reliable builder , thats why buick reported, #even as more beneficial positive vehicles are equipped Buick will construct then#.

i agree with the buick comment. at the same time the big three are in a bad spot financially, so each has to come up with ways to cut expenses. i know that the line does have some very reliable cars, but there are still some lemons. my project car is none other than a 1968 GTO with the ho 400.
