Do Democrats keep the poor in poverty so that they can control them...your thoughts?

We have been just GIVING people money for years now and poverty has not gotten any better.

I would argue that they reason it is worse is that by giving things to people you take away their will to work.

Milwaukee is just FULL of generational welfare recipients and welfare fraud.

YES - it's them who make the choice but people without resources are easier to manipulate.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. In order to give people money, they have to steal it from others. These people cut back spending and more poverty, misery and immorality is created. Liberals have so much envy of the rich, they can't see the outcomes of their policies. Poverty has a side benefit for liberals, the more poverty they cause, the more power they have. If you take away hope of a better future, these "impoverished" people vote to steal more money from the rich out of envy. They shoot themselves in the foot to punish the gun.

All liberal thought, philosophy, values, beliefs and policies are rooted in specific fundamental lies or logical fallacies. The liberal agenda is driven by envy and the desire to commit evil, immoral, acts.

Taxing the rich does not help the poor. It creates more poverty. A CEO does not pay the corporations taxes. taxes are a cost of business. Employees work harder for less. Customers pay more for less. Shareholders are able to save less for retirement.

Murdering premature babies has absolutely nothing to do with a woman's right to choose what happens to her own body. Another small, innocent, body is affected far more.

Paying women to have children out of wedlock only results in more women having children out of wedlock. The children earn immorality from their mothers. Men are made irreverent because at that age, the government takes care of kids far better than the man who impregnated the mother.

Since all liberal thought is based on such lies. All liberal rhetoric is simply justification of the lies.

If you are debating any liberal, you have to know, the very first sentence will be a lie and he must be stopped at that point before he goes on. If you let him assume a lie, he will win the debate.

Taxing gasoline corporations would only result in higher gas prices, but envy of the rich drives liberals to tax and punish achievers.

Liberals don't care if their taxes go up. It's crazy but it's true. They are so deeply intrenched in their envy of the rich, they can't see past the initial lie.

They believe the global warming myth. It's simply impossible for them to see all their "research" is based on fundamental lies" Mankind is no more able to change the weather than he is able to sit on the sun. It's part of their culture to devalue God and religion. They are totally incapable of understanding the truth about climate change. Their lack of faith makes them more dependent on man and they ignore the miracles of life and nature.

Fighting evil is not evil, Indeed, if we don't fight evil, it grows stronger and more invasive into culture. They wish to lose the war on terror. They protect the guilty and leave the innocent They seek to destroy freedom of religion and fight to commit immoral acts. They have such good intentions. They wish to help the poor. They wish to help unwed mothers. They wish to stop a war and save the lives of those who would fight it. We both know they travel the road paved with good intentions and we both know where it leads.

I'm more and more convinced, the leader of the liberal philosophy is the father of all lies. I am also convinced, if you wish to predict the next turn in liberal policy formation, ask yourself the question, which way will cause the most poverty, misery and immorality. You will never go wrong

Although I am a conservative republican I am not going to point out the democrats sole guilt in creating the welfare state that exists today, though was implemented under their golden boy FDR during the 1930's, and chosen by the American people who would rather have the government save them than save themselves.
People are mostly lazy and if they can have a good quality of life without working, there is no way that they will go out there to get a job.
Both the Democrats and Republicans have continued to allow this welfare state to exist and broaden to the point of bankrupting this country, for example single mothers alone cost the US govt 102 billion dollars a year, more than the Iraq war has.
The reason they allow it to exist is because the millions dependent on the US govt will never push for it to change other policies, except ones that would give more benefits to them. This give a very big incentive to get votes by saying the right thing and giving promises.
Despite the guilt of both parties, a majority of people on welfare are liberals who would rather not work for anything and feel they are entitled to everything from health care to college to housing. Wasn't it a random Obama supporter that cheered that now that Obama was president she didn't need to worry about paying her rent anymore???
Yea we all see how that worked out, some messiah, liberals.

I have often wondered exactly that. I keep thinking that if there is always a class of poor who can never succeed, they will be in power.
I was with a cousin this past week and her significant other is a union member. He voted for Obama purely because his union told him to. Now he hates him and is sorry he voted that way.
I cannot imagine a union telling me who to vote for. The privacy of the voting booth is still ours. Why would anyone allow someone who profits based on people staying in a certain circumstance and never moving upward to anything but that same circumstance to tell them how to vote?
Yet, people are convinced that the union knows best?
I used to work in the HR department of a union company. The union reps and bosses would come and wine and dine the HR director. There were fancy cars, fancy lunches, vacations and all being paid for out of the pockets of the employees. These lunches and outings were all supposed to be time when they were making deals on union contracts. Let me tell you that the contracts could be negotiated in a 15 minute meeting with just a cup of coffee. The employees were dutifully paying union dues and these guys were leaches upon them.
The Democrats are exactly like that. Living like leaches upon those who think they are being protected. We have Michelle Obama with her $540.00 sneakers (mine were $40.00 and probably just as good) and Barak and she throwing lavish parties at the White House.
We have Pelosi, whose air transportation alone costs us all $15K per HOUR and yet people are blind sheep paying their taxes.
We've got tax cheats and people who have had special deals with transportion paid and not claimed on taxes as well as special deals with mortgages.
When will they all wake up and see what is truly going on?
People used to complain about John McCain having something like 6 or 7 houses. At least John has a reason for all that property ownership, he married a billionaire wife, an heiress. But, I have to say that I feel his marriage was for love. I have seen them together and know their story. John isn't a tax cheat and isn't getting a limo paid for him by someone and not claiming it as income. He's all about being American.
What, oh when, will people see these elitists, tax cheats and crooks for who they truly are?

This will be new to many of you:

I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I traveled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.

As I continue to ask the liberals, name just one person who is no longer poor or homeless because of Obama or because of the democratic party in general? Just one.

I have yet to get an answer or anyone who is willing to provide a link.
