I have a friend who is interested in purchasing my saddle. It if 5 or 6 years old, well taken care of, with the exception of a tear in the seat from my jeans rubbing it for 4 years straight. Has everyday wear and tear, but has been professionally oiled once a month every month up until 6 weeks ago, when I got a new saddle because it doesn't fit my growing mare. I bought it for $800 then, what do you think I should ask for it now?

It's an english close contact, a Dover Circuit Elite. I don't have any pictures of the saddle, but you can google the brand name.
without a picture its hard to tell you, but probably about 75 to 100 just 'cause its not in great condition due to the everyday wear & tear, the rip, and the fact that its pretty old. im buying a beautiful, hardly broken in saddle for like 150...so yeah i'd probably say around 75 for yours.
also, what kind of saddle? (english or western) it makes a difference
edit: alright, well i guess it still depends on condition, im expecting the worst (idk the size of the tear) so idk still say 75-100
What type is it? Do you have a picture? That would be really helpful. If not I suggest you talk to a local tack store about how much they would sell it for or talk to a trainer.
