After the 5th episode, who do you think is the Harper's Island killer?
The 5th episode aired on Global Thursday night in Canada, so if you haven't seen it yet, you might not want to read on. I used to think it was Abby, but now I'm leaning more towards Chloe.

Here are some people that i think is the Killer:
#1-Maggie(The Wedding Planner)-In episode #5 in the church during the wedding rehersal she asked Abby to turn off the light but what were they even doing on why did she ask right when Thomas was under the chandelier, and because i think she broke Trish's mom's eirlooms and put them on the table.
#2-J.D.(The Black Sheep)-In Episode #2 he had sex with Kelly and that same night she was hanged but that can't really mean he is the killer. In episode #5 he told Henry you are in for a suprise before the wedding rehersal and at the wedding rehersal Trish's Dad got stabed in the head by a Spade.
#3-Beth(The Single Girl)-Even though we haven't really seen her much she can still be the killer because during the time we haven't seen her she could have been setting the booby traps and planning.
#4-Joel"Booth"(The Nerd)-Booth could have faked his death because it would take longer than 30 second for you do die shooting yourself in the leg but you never know.
i individually think of that Jimmy ( Abby's previous boyfriend) is the killer through fact he nevered confirmed in alot of sences whilst something undesirable happens. I thank he's the killer through fact he's particularly the only one that became there whilst John Wakefield went on killing human beings and he understand around the island and whilst Richard became killed via a harpoon is that used for fishing and Jimmy is a fisherman. The killings look like traps too.
Im unsure, I have a few different people in mind but don't want to jump to a conclusion. My first guess was Abby's father, before reading these answers I though I was the only person who suspected him. I guess me and Never trust a skinny chef! think alike. Maybe we will end up being the only people that get it right.
It CAN'T be "booth" the nerd. In the last epsiode it shows that fat friend going to a grave. That means that he was buried by the large friend and could not fake dead. The reason he died so quick is because he shot his femoral. Which is a main artery in the leg. Also viewers would not want to watch him die for 5 minutes.
Personally, I think Abby's father (the Sheriff) is the killer. Very unexpected, and no one would suggest or question the possibility of it. I was originally sitting on this theory and keeping my mouth shut, but after last night's episode, I'm now pretty positive it's him. When he was examining the hanging girl's body, He was likely just admiring his handy work and making sure there was no evidence. In addition, we now see his obsession in the attic, and it's quite obvious he's keeping trophies. He's extremely proud of his previous killings (the news clippings and police files/reports), and he's keeping track of current murders in other areas of the U.S. to track copy cats, possibly in admiration, but most likely in anger.
I don't believe the killer is actually Wakefield, as that would be a weak attempt at mystery by the writer's. I also don't think the killer is Henry or Chloe because neither of them have any evidence present that they could, in fact, be the ones murdering everyone. The writer's don't want the killer to be obvious, but I definitely think they want the audience to be able to piece the mystery together and develop theories. Henry and Chloe are just random guesses because neither one of them has an alibi, and because it would be ridiculously unexpected.
theory 1- i was thinking it could be jimmy as he is the main character who ever does not have an alibi when a killing happens. theory 2- but my new thought is booth. he accidently shot himself in the leg and then died pretty quickly. maybe he played dead and then left the area when his friend left. theory 3- although last night they did show a guy who might be john wakefield (half burned face guy) but i hope it;s not him again, that shows very little creativity of the writers part. i hope john wakefield is really innocent and trying to prove his innocence while the real murderer is still killing like he/she was 7 years ago. that is how i would write it anyway.
