What happened at the end of the house season five 5/11/09 finale? I was confused.?

House was hallucinating again.
He was taking SO much vicodin, that his mind made up these fantasies. He was conviced his fantasies where really true, he saw his vicodin pill case thing as Cuttys lipstick.
at the end he finally understood he needed serious help, he then left for rehab.

Every time that we thought House was obsessing over Cuddy's lipstick, it was actually his pills. He was hallucinating because of the pills, so much that he actually hallucinated sleeping with Cuddy. Almost everything from "go suckle on your bastard child that makes you feel good about yourself" last episode to then was a continuation of the hallucination. The case was real, Wilson's reactions were real, what Cuddy said to him "the day after" was real, it was just the lipstick, basically. And the fact that Amber had never left House's brain....Show more

What happened was House was hallucinating Cuddy like he did with Amber. He thought she was there and they had sex he thought he was off vicadin but really he was "high" on the drug and was seeing other things. hes now going to a rehab place to help him out and it seems season 6 will start right there....Show more

i think this is what happened.. the comment right after she was leaving about the baby... was the only real thing.. the rest of that night was a hallucination.. everyithing detoxing sex..etc.. in reality after he made the comment she said screw u and walked out.. he just hallucinated everything.. his mind convinvced him that it was her lipstick and not oxycodine that hes popping... he realizes at the end that he was insane .. and wilson helped him admitted him to the nuthouse.. (yes she actually did fire him and he did say that he had sex with her to everyone. .cuz he actually thought that he did.. and she didnt deny it cuz he kept refferring to it as "last night" she thought he was talking about the comment about the baby... so she didnt deny anything.. so yeah.. hes insane... :( kinda glad they didnt sleep together though......Show more
