How do you implement an RSS feed if the web server does not accept .rss or .xml files?

I found a feed creator, made a feed, went to publish it but the site does not accept .rss or .xml files. If saved as an HTML, will RSS readers read it? I'm a total noob to RSS, so forgive me if I ask silly questions.

What files types do you support?
jpg|jpeg|gif|png|bmp|ico|html|htm|php|mid|css|js|txt

I'm not sure what you mean by "the site does not accept .rss or .xml files". What site are you talking about? What do you mean "it doesn't acceot" ?

A RSS feed is basically an xml file. Publishing a feed means basically making the xml file available via a web server. A web server serves any kind of file as long as it is saved in an area that's accessible via an URL.

A RSS feed has nothing to do with a site, you may put a link to the rss on a site for easier accessibility, but that's about the only connection.

After that, all you have to do is make sure the feed is updated, otherwise it doesn't make sense.
to have one.

RSS feeds are in undemanding words properly shaped xml information that include particular attributes. This xml should be parsed with a range of of cyber information superhighway languages and the coaching displayed on a server information superhighway website jointly with a jsp or asp etc. the in undemanding words question i'm not confident of is how and if the wordpress rss xml is available with coaching from a cyber information superhighway request.
