At first no one will notice but if another manufacture such as Toyota or Ford put more technology and money into winning equioment watch how fast others will drop GM and switch. And that includes HMS if he wants to kee winning

It will not kill NASCAR. Does no one remember when the manufactuers pulled their support out before? NASCAR didn't die then. It is very nice with the manufacturers in NASCAR but if they aren't it is not a death sentance and just because any manufacturer might not be in NASCAR does not mean that NASCAR won't run the manufacturer.

I really don't see it affecting Nascar to much.
It might make things a little tighter with money and Info, but over all I don't see a real big Problem.
Time will tell.

There was an article on NASCAR.com and Rick Hendrick said that nobody really knows how it will affect Chevrolet's existence in the sport but Rick says he has no intention of removing the "Bow Tie" from the front of his cars. Rick said his plan A is GM, his plan B is GM, and his plan C is GM. I'm sure he will do whatever it takes to keep those engines in his car.
What will more than likely happen is Chevy will keep supplying engines but will not provide NASCAR with emergency vehicles or sponsor as many race tracks.

Hendrick and Haas/Stewart will be affected, they'll as always be thrown to those pointless japanese toyotas.
