if it is making a grinding noise when you are shifting it is your sinkros (not the right spelling) it is making a noise when you foot is off the clutch pedal then you throw out bearing is bad if you can't get in to gear then it is your clutch

Need more info. A bad throw out bearing will sound off when you push the clutch in. A bad clutch will grind upon release but, so will a bad pilot bearing. And it doesn't really make a lot of difference. Since you have to pull the transmission to get to any one of them and they all wear out it's best to replace them all at the same time and not have to do the job more than once.

When the clutch wears out, it will be hard to get it into gear. If it were the throw out, it would not go into any gear.

it,s probably the throw out bearing. usually the clutch don,t make any noise unless it,s slipping.
