I need a good musical?

I need a family friendly musical to direct for a community theater. It must meet the following requirements:

Must be funny or light hearted (preferably hilarius)
Must be family friendly
Must have amazing music
Must be a good length
Must have a larger cast
and Must NOT be any of the following:

Sound of Music
Mary Poppins
Willy Wonka
Cheaper by the Dozen
Pirates of Penzance
Oklahoma
Joseph and the Technicolored Dreamcoat
Jesus Christ Superstar

But needs to be in the same general style/genre as the above

any ideas? I'm thinking about South Pacific but it seems dramatic and sad, anybody have any experiance with this or any ideas?

Do In to the Woods. if you want it to be REALLY family friendly do the jr version. its' just the first act. The second act is more about everything falling apart, but it should be still good.

OR if you want to do South Pacific I personally find it really family friendly. Yes there are parts that aren't so light hearted, but the parts that are can hilarious if done right. although if your trying to aim towards kids, its a little iffy but i think most kids would enjoy it.

i know someone else said Wizard of Oz, and its obviously a classic, you can't really go wrong with it. although personally its been overdone lately but maybe that' just me

my last suggestion would be cinderella. while i have never seen it myself, one has to imagine that considering the story it would family friendly.

Hope this helps

Into the Woods is a good one. It has a bunch of fairy tale characters both kids and adults are familiar with. I loved it when my high school did it.
