I understand this has been going on for decades. Why? Why can't both countries be satisfied with what they have? Why the greedy acquisition for more land? Each land has its own borders. Why do you allow the rebels to rebel????

pheemz- When Israel forcefully removed all Israelis from the Gaza Strip and turned it over to the Palestinian Authority (only to have it taken over violently by Hamas), they left all the Israeli structures (which included greenhouses, homes, schools, plumbing, etc.), hundreds of thousands of dollars worth. Instead of taking advantage of that fact, the Palestinians destroyed everything because they didn't want to use anything built by Israel.
It is worth noting that upon Israel's creation, they didn't have anything either. The Middle East is one of the least productive places on Earth. Israel built everything that allowed it to become what it is today.

The problem is at the moment Palestinians have absolutely nothing. In the West Bank they have military occupation. In Gaza they have a crippling blockade that even with the recent destruction done by the IDF won't allow in building materials.
So why won't they be satisfied with what they've got? Because they have nothing.

because Palestinians got only 20% of what used to be their land before 1948,and even on this small part of their owen land,Israel still building new settlements by taking over more Palestinian lands!!!

palestine got 77% of the land, not 20%, and Israel only got 23%. The palestinians are nothing but terrorist that want everything, and will kill everyone that stands in their way.
