What does Relict mean, in Virginia court records?

The Virginia Colonial Abstracts by Beverly Fleet is all that is left of the lost Virginia records. These abstracts are full of abbreviations like JNO. Galloes, Ja. Mumford, and BBL. of corn or tobacco. Can anyone tell me what these mean?

"Relict" is an archaic term for "widow" or "widower." "Jno" was a common abbreviation for "Jonathon," "Ja." is probably "James" (though "Jas." is more common), and I think BBL is "barrels," like "pp" is "pages."
