Video card compatible with DirectX 8.0 or higher not found?

When I try to open the game I downloaded on my computer, I get this error. How can this be fixed. Well except for getting a new video card as I used to play this game on the same computer a while ago. Any suggestions?

If installing the latest video driver doesn't fix it, they probably upgraded the game to require a more powerful video card.

remove the vedio card driver and re-installed it again
