Where in the Bible can I find the story about the king who decides to divide a baby and determines his mother?
I am trying to remember where in the Bible this story is located.it speaks of two women who both claim to be a babies mother. The King decides that the child should be divided in half so that each woman will get half of the baby. The real mother relinquishes her hold on the child in order to preserve it's life. The wise King then identifies the real mother because she was willing to give the child up instead of seeing it killed.
