Am I available for an upgrade?

I've been an AT&T/Cingular customer for a very long time now, and I've had no problems with my phones or the service so far. Until I got this new phone a few months ago, it's a motorola z9 or something of the sort. It's a slider if that helps at all.., but it keeps freezing. I paid around $299 for it and I'm not liking it at all. When I went to look it up online it shows that they quit making this model, but it just came out recently! What do I do? I'm not available for an upgrade. Do they re-imburst me with a model that's similar? or what? Please send me your thought and answers.

I don't have insurance on this phone, and no they do not replace with the same model. Not if they quit making it. My sister had the same problem with her Quick Fire.

If its a manufacturers defect they should replace the phone but with a refurbished model of the same phone.

I don't know how many years you have been with AT&T so I can't say for sure, but if you've been with them for at least 5-10 years, and you have a phone that's about 5 years old, you can definitely get an upgrade. However, this may not be free, but they will probably give you a discount for being a loyal customer and keeping one phone for that long.

Well, if its broken and you have insurance they'll replace it with the same model - they have them warehoused even if they dont have them in the stores.

mail it in to the manufacturer.
