My partner and I are going to be visiting Berlin for two weeks. We've done some restaurant research in several guidebooks, but we're wondering if anyone out there has any special recommendations for nice places to have dinner. Our budget allows for about 20-25 euro per person per meal. Vielen Dank.

Very popular. Very chic. This eatery, situated in the train station arcade, offers nice lunch options and also serves as a cocktail bar.
2.Café Hardenberg Hours: Daily 9am-1am Average Main Course Price: 6.00 Euros
Address: Hardenberg Strasse 10, Berlin 10623
Omelets, salads and sandwiches are the simple fare and specialties of this university hangout. Located across from the Technical University and set in a very smoky atmosphere, Café Hardenberg has extremely affordable prices, constant conversation, loud music, and terrific terrace seating.
3.Café im Literaturhaus Wintergarten Hours: Daily 9:30am-1am Average Main Course Price: 16.00 Euros
Address: Fasanenstraße 23, Berlin 10719
With salon rooms and sitting gardens, the Literaturhaus is exactly what the name implies. Housed in a turn-of-the-century villa, it's a great stop for a quick business lunch. With a bookstore on-site and a light menu to boot, you can enjoy a meal or stimulating conversation at this "thinking mans" café.
4.Dressler Hours: Daily 8am-1am Average Main Course Price: 20.00 Euros
Address: Unter der Linden 39, Berlin 10117
This lovely French restaurant with German influences is a great place for a light lunch or a full meal. The seasonal menu features such entrées as oysters and lobster. The interesting ambience and first-rate service make this a perfect choice for a business lunch. U-BAHN: Friedrichstrasse
5.Jolesch Hours: Restaurant Daily 10am-1am Breakfast Daily 10am-4pm Lunch Mon-Fri Noon-4pm Dinner Daily 6pm-11:30pm Average Main Course Price: 16.00 Euros

This downtown eatery features a menu of several traditional favorites. Great spot for a midday meal of potatoes and the famed goulash. Service is good and the menu offers meals for all appetites. Stop in after a day of shopping and sightseeing or for a nice business lunch. Business casual attire. U-BAHN: Görlitzer Bhf
6.Oxymoron Hours: Oct-Mar Daily 11am-Close Apr-Sep Daily 10am-Close Average Main Course Price: 13.00 Euros
Address: Rosenthaler Strasse 40-41, Berlin 10178
After an afternoon of shopping, enjoy a leisurely lunch at this popular café. The outdoor seating constantly changes at Oxymoron, because the staff rearranges to seat diners as they arrive. Although the service may be slow, the food is good. A great recommendation is the chicken with spinach and Parmesan. S-BAHN: Hackescher Markt
If you like Vietnamese food, Monsieur Vuong is amazing and cheap. They don't take reservations and be prepared to wait in line out front unless you arrive early. Even at 10pm on a Sunday night you'll have to wait. The food is so good I ate there twice on my last trip to Berlin http://www.monsieurvuong.de/
And with the money you save there, you can splurge on Lutter & Wegner on Gendarmenmarkt http://www.lutter-wegner-gendarmenmarkt.de/index_flash.html
I can't remember exactly, but I think when I was there I went to a place that was called The Beer Hole, or Beer Hall, one or the others. Anyways, they had the BEST pork knuckle, those things were massive and intimidating.
