No input on HDTV from PC using DVI to HDMI after switching input. Rebooting the PC corrects the issue.?

Any ideas? It's an ATI video card and a Vizio TV, if that matters.

jf, that info was not at all relevant. There's only one monitor being used here, and it's a Vizio 32" HDTV that works just fine until you change the source.

One problem you have is when your computer is already on, and running the Video Card. The EDID isn't being sent....

That EDID tells the TV what the card is, and identifies that it is NOT a Recorder...that's the whole reason we have EDIDS on every device that has HDMI connections.

So, restarting your computer is the ONLY choice you have for it to send the EDID to the TV set.

You might not be doing a multiple monitor setup persay, but essentially its the same configuration areas you need to be worried about.
