I have a gap in my front teeth how do I get rid of it?
So when I was younger I had a really bad gap but as i grew older it closed. I noticed one day that my gap is reappearing. I have straight teeth the problem is the gap and it's not that noticeable but it bothers me. Do i need braces or retainers? How much do they cost? I'm a freshmen in high school so I don't want braces for my high school years.

it is normal to had a gap (diastema) at the upper front teeth in younger age. it will closed by itself when the upper canine teeth erupt. but, if they are still a small gap, you can fix it just by doing a composite build up rather then wearing a braces because braces is more expensive compare to composite build up..
Get a plate/braces to correct it, unless your dentist thinks it will correct itself. for something that small if you did get a plate or braces it would not be for long
Asking a question like this is like asking the general public if you should have brain surgery! Ask your dentist. If you don't have one , you should. Only an experienced dentist who knows you, can give you meaningful answers to your questions. Now is the time to do it, while you may be covered under you parent's insurance. Later, it's on you Bub.
