Are the Follies still running at the Tropicana?

I went to the Tropicana's website but at one point it lists days and times and at another point it says the show closed months ago.

Does anyone know?

Thanks!!

They had a big sendoff in February. It had run for over half a century. A new owner just bought the casino (a former MGM executive).

No word about what he is going to do about entertainment. The show at the Riviera closed as well.

The three old grandladies from the 1950's will still have some trouble. The Tropicana, the Sahara, and The Rivieria. They practically have to give the rooms away. In January there was 45,000 empty hotel rooms in midweek (more than exist in most major cities).
--------------
The Wynn opened it's new hotel tower (the Encore) in November. They have 12 new restaurants and 2000 new rooms and a new casino. Yet the combined revenue from the Wynn and the Encore is only up 5.7% from last year when it was just the Wynn. That's how bad the gambling and the room rates have dropped.

They closed the show in March. Too bad, it was a great show in the old Vegas style. Not many of them left. You can try Jubilee at Ballys for a similar experience.
