I'm a lesbian and am hoping to move to a GL BT friendly place to move around Mesquite/Dallas. I'd like it to be close to Eastfield College since I attend classes there. Thanks for the help everyone.

Near White Rock Lake in Dallas was great when I lived there. There is a park where LBGTs hang out. It's a great place to meet new friends. I don't think Mesquite would be the best place. It used to be redneck and homophobic.

Sadly, a lot of people here are as*holes and bigots. I'm sure there are a few more friendly areas, but not that I know about. :(
I'm getting out of the south as soon as I can!
