I see people who want to know answers to specific beliefs and or religions. I just saw one on Wicca. I saw a lot of people who haven't a clue what Wicca is about giving off the wall or pat Christian answers. Why do these people insist on giving out answers to things they have no clue about. This is just a thought question so I will probably leave it to the community to decide.

I know that this is a forum and discussion is no problem. What I take acception to is that those who know nothing about a subject will pipe in with information which is not relevent to the question, or it is just an ignorent answer from those who don't even try to understand the subject. How do they KNOW what a Wicca, a Muslim, etc. is if they haven't even read or asked? I mean come on now. A wicca does not automatically = witch! Muslim does not automatically = women are slaves or hatred for the US. I would say that is they really don't know then ask or don't answer. At least I try to do research before I answer.

I know what you mean, it happens to me also. I've been threatened by CHRISTIANS that they were going to kill me because I'm Wiccan, but they believe that I worship the Devil which is NOT the case.
I love nature. I love the Lord and Lady. I don't acknowldge the "Devil" as many of us Wiccans don't. I don't get how not believing in the "Devil" makes us "Devil" worshippers. Like, seriously? What sense does that make?
Just because I embrace nature and the Lord and Lady, how is that bad? That's what I would like to know.
If the query is intriguing ample then my reply most likely may not be the identical as a number of the different solutions. If it is a functional query that anybody can reply (and a few have already got with the proper reply), then I simply move it through. Why hassle? If it is a functional query however the different solutions are incorrect, then I'll commonly supply the proper reply (and be voted down besides, oh good). If it is a well setup query then I train one-liners. If it is a dumb query I supply it the dumb reply it merits. If it is a critical query I attempt to supply a major reply. Occasionally I'll learn the solutions and rip a number of of the opposite solutions. Sometimes I simply have a laugh with it.
I know the frustration you speak of. I've been there, too. I know nothing of muslim, and I say such. Same for Wicca,as I am just learning the particulars of this lifepath. And I agree: I do research as well, and no I don't acknowledge the devil and as for christian answers to questions I ask,or read: automatically THUMBS DOWN. If it is a Pagan/Wiccan answer,I'll read it and decide, and usually,a thumbs-up it. Yes,i do learn about my lifepath and I am glad you asked this,as alot of people need to know what they are typing about before they type it :) At least THIS witch thinks so
It annoys me too. What is worse is when I see a question to which I have researched or read about and then give what I feel is a reasonable answer and then I get a bunch of thumbs down from the ignoramuses who know nothing on the subject.
I know which question your talking about...and of course I saw the answers. Some people just get off on trying to be superior over other people. If I ever post a question to Wiccans or Pagans I am almost guaranteed 10 people telling me I am stupid or a satanist (my latest question didn't though..amazing!). I feel sorry for people like that.
