My 50th birthday is in September and I want to have accent colors( napkins, cups, table coverings,etc.) in colors that were popular at the time. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you.
I think I'll definitely need some black-and white checkerboard patterns on some things.

I like the black and white but since the 1950's were the 'Atomic Era' you will need some chrome accents in abstract geometric space shapes as well as colors such as turquoise, candy pink, sunny yellow and lime green.

can never go wrong with black and white checker pastels wont hurt any or light colors but black and white were about the most popular
