I don't understand what this dream really means.?

Question

ok, so i had a dream 2 nights ago and part of its been bothering me.  this is the part:

my friend fell into a really deep mud puddle and i searched around for something to help her out with, or she'd die.  so i pull her out with a metal rod and then in my dream i was expecting her to be all "oh my hero" and give me a hug and stuff.  but she just said "thanks" and walked by me.

i know where the mud came from so don't tell me about that.  but her walking by me i need help on.  but her just walking by me im trying to figure out.  i used to really like this girl and i think i might still have some feelings for her.  

any ideas would help, thanks.

Well this dream might be a way for your subconscious to tell you that you'll never get this girl the way you're going at it. Just meditate on the dream and hopefully your answer will come to you.

Your subconscious is playing out your " worst case scenario" so to speak concerning your interactions with this girl and what your expectations also may be during the interactions of a certain event or actions. So in your dream you are having trouble with her acknowledging you appropriately for just saving her life. It was a let down how she reacted,So you have gone through this anxious anticipation for what her reactions would be and it was a let down and not at all what your might have been hoping for. It is your subconscious dealing with rejection with this person played out in fantasy your dream(s).

It would seem to point to your anxiety about your relationship with her. Are you afraid that she doesn't want to be rescued? Or that she is indifferent in some way? Maybe you need to be careful and test the waters before proceeding. You may feel anxious, if only subconsciously, that she is less than enthusiastic about your interactions.
