The Devil May Quote Scripture to His Own Ends?

If that is indeed the case:

then doesn't that mean that in any theological argument, neither side can use scripture to support their case (since the other side may reasonably object that they are using the scripture incorrectly)?

Satan doesn't actually exist. He's a mythical character that only survives in the minds of the religiously delusional. That is one reason why a Christian must argue that scripture can be used by their enemy; their enemy interprets the scriptures the same way they do: with their brain, but the atheist has a leg up on them, because he interprets the exact meaning of scripture in the absence of reverence.

He can quote it all he likes. He knows as much as the average person, however to understand what you are quoting is the secret to knowing who is doing the inaccurate quoting and who is not. When someone, anyone interprets incorrectly then you know that their knowledge of scripture is limited. There is not much they can tell you because you have already found the answers. It is not difficult to do, but a very sly way of not letting those who pretend to be one of God's followers, be able to deceive you. It's that simple.

Satan knows scripture because he has been here since before humans were created. But he uses scriptures against people in order to mislead them. That is his sole purpose is to confuse people. Why do you think we have so many people "who believe in the Bible"? But what they teach doesn't line up with scriptures.

No. You should use the Word of God as the sword with which to refute Satan. So what if Satan objects? He is a murderer and a liar anyway, so expect lies from him.

Eph 6:11 Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:13 Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
Eph 6:14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness.
Eph 6:15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
Eph 6:16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
Eph 6:17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
