i love animals alot and ive always wanted to volunteer at a pet shelter to just help out,is it possible for a 13 year old to do that? and if it is where are some names of pet shelters that i can volunteer in(im in arizona).

Well most shelters have their own age requirements, but most don't care about age, as long as they have your help. I volunteer and foster at a shelter that doesn't require age but we are in IL. I would suggest google-ing shelters around AZ or around your zip code, and then asking what the age requirement is or if they need volunteers. The easiest way to check shelters is to make a zoo too account. Just go to www.zootoo.com and make an account, and then click on animal shelters and itll give you the closest shelters to you. good luck!

yeah u just have 2 find a good shelter i live in North Carolina and im 13 but i started at da age of 11 almost 12 and there is this place called the museum of life and science and it has a bunch of things 2 do with animals u shuld see if there is something like dat close 2 u

Well as long as youre not getting paid then it is alright. Don't break the child labor laws that says "children under the age of 16 may not be paid for they're services"

of course you can volunteer at 13 however u probly have to have a parent there with you. however in arizona i have no idea

a homless shelter is differnt to a pet shelter love!..
anyway yeh i dont think you will be able to i have a feeling that you are to young cos my mate asked and she wasnt even aloud to watch!
