MKV files to watchable DVD?

How do I put downloaded MKV files (TV show) onto a disk that I can watch in my home DVD player? I've been messing with numerous conversion and DVD creator software and it's all so complicated I want to scream! Please help...

Step 1: Convert MKV video to AVI.
In this step you need a HD or MKV video converter, I recommend Aimersoft MKV Converter which can help you convert MKV to AVI without lose anything.

Step 2: Burn AVI to DVD
In this step you need a DVD burner, you can use Nero, but I prefer
Cucusoft Mpeg/Mov/RMVB/DivX/AVI to DVD/VCD/SVCD Converter. It enables you to convert and burn any video file directly to VCD, DVD, SVCD, MPEG1 and MPEG2 format.

Hope can help you!

I usually use DVD creator to convert and burn MKV file to DVD.It supports all other common formats to DVD quickly, such as,AVI, MP4, MPEG, 3GP, WMV, ASF,DAT, MOV, FLV and even most HD formats like FLV (Youtube), M2TS, TP and TRP.

Simple using steps:
Step1:Download DVD Creator and install it
Step 2: Add video files
Step 3: If you don't need any other edit, you can convert video to DVD directly
It works pretty well for me.

If you want to play your videos on any home DVD player, you should burn standard video DVD from your videos, there is an easy way, you can try RZ DVD Creator, it can create standard video DVD from any movies, it can directly convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, mkv to DVD, etc.

It can burn multi videos to one disc, and can auto fit the size.
Work well on my computer, easy to use, following is a step by step guide about DVD Creation:
