All incoming calls on my G1 are coming up as unknown?

4 days ago, all incoming calls on my G1 (through tmobile) are showing up as "unknown". This happened after my boyfriend messed with my phone. He claims all he did was forceclose all my apps, as I was running out of memory space. I called Tmobile and they said it might be an app and the best thing to do would be factory reset. i don't want to lose all the apps I paid for! Does anyone else know of another way? Thanks so much!

ok how many apps do you have? if you want, you can email me the apps you have and ill tell you which one might be messing with your phone calls because this happened to me and i had to delete that app. Also, the apps you paid for should still be available for you if you paid for it even if you do master reset, you should be able to download them with no problem for free
