You can try a chinese receipe: slice them if you want, or you can just cut them into small cubes or strips, either way is fine but short strips is the best idea. Ingredients: Spring Onions/ Normal Onions ( chopped, spring onions about 1 inch in length for each piece) Soyasauce Garlic (chopped) Ginger (chopped) Oyster Sauce (1 table-spoon) Olive Oil One tablespoon of red wine (optional) Preparation: 1) Cut the deer meat 2) Add the wine and the oyster sauce into the meat 3) Marinate it well 4) Leave it for at least 20 minutes Method: 1) Heat a pan with olive oil 2) Put the ginger in and stir-fry for about 3 minutes 3) Put the garlic in and stir-fry till moderate brown-ness 4) Pour all the meat into the pan and stir-fry 5) Before they'r throughly cooked, add the onions/ spring onions in. 6) Ready to be served with rice when the meat is throughly cooked
