All you need is a ID to go into the base you dont need to let nobody but ur soldier know that ur going. I went thru the same thing if you have any more questions email me. I whent thru that recently. :)
I can tell you how it was in the Navy. Whomever recived a notice for graduation (pass & review), is allowed to show up. However, in the Navy upon Graduation, the night before graduation, was called USO night. RSVP was need for this. As for the Army, I cannot say for sure, but, I am thinking, if you received a letter for graduation, that you can just show up. One understanding, if you are over the age of 18, make sure you have picture ID.
Tell hubbie I said congrats, and to go and Kick some .......
My husband graduated feet. Benning awhile in the past. His family members day and graduation day he have been given released ideal after the ceremonies, and then had to be returned at 2145. The time actual relies upon on the Drill Sargeant. they are in a position to lead them to be returned every time they choose. i comprehend my husband left for AIT on Saturday after graduation. I booked my flight out of the comparable airport he became into flying out of, so I had a third day with him. have exciting :) that's a huge 2d on your lives!
Just show up. like these other guys said make sure you have the proper identification to get on base. but you getting that letter means your invited simple as that sista.
