What are some respected Urban Planning programs in the U.S.?

I'm looking to do some graduate studies using the new GI Bill. I left the Army six months ago. My background included working with ArcGIS. I'm taking a graduate certificate course in that at a local state university.

What are some of the most respected U.S. programs for Urban Planning? I am specifically interested in alternative transportation and walkable/bike-able scale development. Not so much highways and suburbs.

Volunteer for the dominant political party in your area. Just don't openly mention pork barrel spending. (Unless you are willing to sleep with the politician).
